These last few weeks I have been very busy with finishing my dolls. I've been making wigs and clothes for them - an iteresting experience since I'm kind of new to making wigs, and sewing is fun for me but not my preferred method of creating things! I want my dolls to have clothes, though, so it has to be done.
It almost like getting to know them all over again when making clothes for them - what colours and fabrics that suit them and so on. I have found I prefer them in very simple dresses, and that linen looks so beautiful against the porcelain!!
Little Hilma in a grey linen dress.
Hilma again & Aurora in dresses with bows
More of Hilma!
A newly assembled girl, she is #6! Here in polkadot dress.
And my little ghost girl Beata. She prefers white.
I have also made a new dress for my Marian:
I plan on starting to sell my dolls soon, like within a month! It's so scary, and I would love to keep them all here with me, (some will remain here, ofcourse!!) but it would be so very crowded!! And I would be a terrible doll maker if I couldn't part with them, so.. I am actually excited about selling them, too!
I will post more info on dolls and which ones will be available here on my blog soon!
See you!
What a cuties:-)
congrats for dolls and dresses, they match perfectly.

I can see the love you put into making these dolls, they are exquisite. Marian is hauntingly beautiful. I'm sure you will sell any dolls you can bare to part with easily.
