Mouldy me

I have been very busy making moulds in school this week. So enjoyable!
These moulds are of my latest doll-girl; my biggest, tallest girl. It has been really great to scale things up: she will be a giant among my other dolls!

...and here she is a few weeks a go, before the mould making started...

I'm so fascinated by this whole process! I live in a mouldy doll bubble right now, it's great!

Hello! I'm so fascinated by this whole progress. It has only recently occurred to me that I could make a doll myself and I'm thrilled to see someone open enough to post production pictures, thank you so much for this!
I have one question about this step, though, the base doll (as seen in the last picture), out of what is she made that you could safely make a plaster mould without damaging her? Is it clay or something else entirely? Is she already hollow on the inside? (that were two question, heh)

Anyway, thank you for doing something like this!

Sincerely,

Eve
